Summary:  Frontier won the S6-A title last year, but this year there is a torrid three-way fight shaping up between Clarence, Orchard Park, and Frontier, who all finished within 14 points of each other at the big ECIC meet while going 1-2-3. Another preseason favorite Williamsville North has had key injuries and does not appear to be in the picture. Last year's champ was Clarence frontrunner Grey Conover, and he will be battling Orchard Park's Cal Puskar for the win.

Summary:  East Aurora dominated last year's S6-B race, but this year should be a little closer against a young Pioneer team that was way back in 7th last year with two freshmen on the lead. Ian Russ was 2nd behind graduated Blue Devil teammate Pat Murray last year, and he will be getting a battle from Grand Isle's Ryan Buzby here.

Summary:  Newfane lost out to Alden by 89-98 in the S6-C last year but now looks ready to take the title. There is a pack of guys in the mix for the individual title, but Depew's David Russo could be the favorite after finishing 18th up in the S6-B race last year, or it might be Newfane frontrunner Samuel Auernhamer who was 14th in the S6-C race in 2016.

Summary: Last year's Maple Grove team finished far out in the front in the S6-D race on the way to a state championship. This year the race is much closer for a less deep Red Dragon team, but a repeat title still looks likely. Maple Grove's senior frontrunner Michael Peppy won last year's race and is again a large favorite for the title.
