Summary: Niskayuna's top place among the Class A teams at Suburban Council cements them as an overwhelming favorite for the title, as the best performer there has won at Sectionals every year during this century. Bethlehem and reigning champ Saratoga are within striking distance though. Noah Tindale was the top S2-A guy at Suburban Council, and Shea Weilbaker who did not run there has by far the highest speed rating.

Summary: After winning at Suburban Council and now ensconced among the top 5 teams in the country, Burnt Hills should have little problem running to the top for both Sectionals and States. The BH Spartans are seeking their 5th straight Sectional title. Last year's individual winner Chris Hughes is now running down in Class C after Glens Falls got reclassified, but Burnt Hills' top trio of Tyler Berg, Aidan Gilloley, and Evan Brennan wil be among the favorites in 2017.
