Breakdown: Sam Lawler is the top returner in the meet by at least 20seconds, and finds himself in strong position to take home the merge win.  He was 15min-even last year, and showed impressive fitness in winning the Pre-States merge last week.  Behind him, Burnt Hills seems to have reloaded quite well after a big graduation of its' NXN-Qualifying team the year before.  The team competition here at McQuaid, especially the merge, has big stakes.  Every team in the State Top Ten is in the Meet, minus NY #1 FM and #5 Warwick.  There is a good chance the merge winner here has a real shot at finishing in the Top Two at NXN-NY late November.  In this matchup, NY #2 and NY #3 Burnt Hills and Xavier will take center stage, with the Class B team taking the slight advantage.
