Breakdown: Colton Kempney is coming off a win at Pre-States, surpassed only by Sam Lawler in a later race.  Kempney is once again the favorite here, with a chance to set a time for Lawler to challenge later in the meet.  Cory Demo had an off-race at Pre-States, but illness can only last so long.  Caleb Bender went out strong at VVS, and will be there to challenge through the early part of the race.  The team race is where this affair tightens up.  Both Beaver River and Saranac Lake have a stellar top two.  This race will come down to the next three for both teams, giving credence to the "Team Sport" mantra of Cross Country.
