Summary:  Sachem East took its often customary place at the head of the table for S11-A with a win in Divisionals, but as usual there are a handful of teams in hot pursuit for the place at States at the home course of Sunken Meadow. Sachem East does have the most mid-level depth of the top three teams, but if Smithtown or Bay Shore can pull their 5th spot up a little closer to the main pack of S11-A runners, this race could flip their way. Roshni Singh was the lead runner last year, but this year she will likely be in a big scrap with the top Class A runner from Divisionals, Fiona McLoughlin.

Summary:  No team in S11-B is loaded, but Kings Park may have the best group of runners in the middle to get the win here, so they could be going to States while States is coming to them. Kings Park did the best of the Class B teams at Section 11 Divisionals, but the dynamics of the smaller S11-B race could be different. Sarah Connelly ran second to the graduated States champ Katherine Lee last year, and she will be the favorite this year.
