NXN-NE Boys Teams
Breakdown: This is another difficult race to project. On the one hand, it's clear that La Salle Academy and Christian Brothers Academy have separated themselves from a very strong field, that only last saw eachother at a loaded Manhattan Invite. Predicting who takes the win, might be a little harder. At Manhattan, La Salle was lead by Max Dimuccio at a 187 Speed Rating. He took first at his Class Champs, and 5th at States. At New England's, he was out hurt. La Salle won without him, but his addition plays a major role in whether they can hold off CBA. The below scores add him back in from his Manhattan performance, based also on La Salle's big showing at Great American. But things could change.
The teams behind are not so far off as to not be able to catch that top duo, and in many people's minds, the Northeast could be in contention for an At-Large, as long as they finish close enough to the top two. The margins at Manhattan were razor thing, but LaSalle College took third with Downingtown West at fourth, and then West reversed that at States. Tolland had a big day at New Englands, and Bishop Hendricken are the reigning 4th place team at NXN. Everyone has the credentials to do well here.
