Summary:  With a convincing win at ECIC Frontier moved a step closer to winning the S6-A title it last won two years ago. The Falcons have both the upper level strength and solid enough compression to outdistance the rest of the teams here, including 2017 champ Clarence, which is now short-handed from a key loss. Lockport's Armani Merlino comes in with by far the best TR, but Frontier's Joshua Peron was the winner at ECIC.

3

153.6

Perrault, Pavan, Wisto, Bautista, Acetta
Summary:  Last year East Aurora won by 17 and Ian Russ was the individual champ. This year though Pioneer comes into the S6-B match with a slightly higher speed rating and a better 3rd place at ECIC compared to EA's 5th. Both teams appeared to be running conservatively at ECIC among the bigger A teams, with the Blue Devils lead guy Nick Ebling especially far back, so we'll just have to wait and see how the Sectionals dust-up turns out. Andrew Perrault was 6th in last year's race and appears set to take the win here after a win at Niagara Frontier.

4

138.4

Scroxton, Bryant, Fye, Vanstrom, Kinnear
Summary: Newfane won easily lat year, but this time there could be a bigger challenge from Alden. Newfane has the better depth and compression, so we're projecting the Panthers to get the win over the Bulldogs. Dagon Bryant was 2nd in last year's S6-C, and he will be battling top rated Brett Russell and Bobby Adams among others for the individual title.

Summary: Last year Maple Grove won by 22 in the S6-D race on the way to a 2nd place finish at States, but this year the margin should be much larger after the Red Dragons made a big leap by winning big at the CCAA. Peter Auer was 3rd and Ronan McDonald 5th in last year's race, and they should be going head-to-head at the top this time.
