State of the Action: After a down year in the High Jump in 2020, the numbers are back on the rise in the event. Two athletes are over 5-7 as of the Qualifiers, with another three athletes at 5-6. Camryn Cole (Webster Schroeder) is the veteran here, hitting 5-7 at Sectionals, while Leeann Redlo (Bayport-Blue Point) is the newcomer, hitting 5-7 last week, in only her third attempt at the event this year. Angela Carter (Sweet Home) and Angelina Napoleon (Allegany-Limestone) have had their battles over 5-6 in Section VI, and Mia Belanger (Burnt Hills) helps round out the field from Section 2. | |||||
