State of the Action: Two of the top three Long Jumpers in the State are both from the same school, and will split the seeds against a Section 3 standout. Gianna Locci (Stillwater) is the favorite here, both because of her PR of over 20-ft, and also because of her consistency. She hasn't jumped under 19-4 all season, minus the two competitions at HVCC, an excusable offense. Tamiah Washington (Proctor) has the ability to get out into the pit, but the stars will need to align for the perfect jump. Rounding out the field over 19-0 is Kelly Moran (Stillwater), who's hit a 19-2 of her own. | |||||
