State of the Action: The State's Top Returner put out a State Leading mark in December, never to run again. He was busy getting Football offers from Coaches flying in on helicopters. But in his absence, the next best returner has been making the event his own. Jadon Spain (James I O'Neill) broke out onto the scene when he dropped a 6.33 in early February, good for NY #9 All-Time in the event. He's been the target ever since, but his 6.45 at the Qualifier will need to improve if he is to hold off the field. Marcus Nahim (Iona Prep) is right on his tail at 6.41, as well as numerous from the PSAL. | |||||
