State of the Action: It's rare we would say a 6-foot jumper in the High Jump won't be able to glide to the top of the podium, but High Jump is on the rise in 2023. Camryn Cole is obviously the standout, hitting 6-0 in February after winning the State Title the year before. But we also have Amelia Benjamin (Ellenville) at 5-9, and Lauryn Piccirelli (Bay Shore) over 5-7.25. Any three of these marks would have won the event the past five years, and the same could be said of 2023. | |||||
