Never before had a Sophomore won the Boys Pentathlon at States, but now Nathaniel Johnson is back to not only defend his title, but chase the big point totals. Fernando Padilla would appear to be the top challenger, but many of these totals were based on one-day competitions, and could allow for big jumps as they transition to two days.
