A Mid-Season Look At The 2020 New York State Rankings

Boys Individual Rankings

Breakdown: As expected, the defending Cross Regional Individual Champion is leading the State, as Peyton Geehrer has gone undefeated for the entire Season. He has won each of his three outings so far by at least 45-seconds. Behind him is a breakout junior in Myles Hogan, who recently captured the BQ/NY Merge title at Van Cortlandt Park, breaking 13mins on the course. The biggest surprise of the fall so far is Jared Smith, who took a big jump up from his junior year in terms of performance. He has some significant marks to bolster his résumé in these lean times.

Missing Marks: Top names not yet racing, or with no results submitted, include Colton Kempney (Beaver River), who was taking time to recover from a slight injury while his team raced as a club in Boston, as well as Evan Waterton (Monticello), who hails from Sec. 9, currently without a Season.
