State of the Action: The reigning State Champ has shut down for the Season after hitting a growth spurt, so the Title will go to a new athlete in 2020. Five athletes have dipped under 40-seconds in the field, and two hail from the same school. At the top of the list is Brianna White (Bishop Loughlin), who won the CHSAA Champs in 38.94, and is the only athlete under 39secs. Just behind her is Gianna Paul (Walt Whitman), who won the 400m Outdoor State Title as a freshman last year. Mia D'ambrosio (Schalmont) will be looking to pull the double, and Gwyneth Goldowski (Frontier) comes in with the fastest flat track time, which could translate to a win here. | |||||
