The 400m competition this Season has been quite unexpected. The Indoor State Champion in the 600m, the reigning State Champ in the 400m, and the State's Top Returner all have not any significant marks this Spring, all three of which would have challenged for the win here. However, Anissa Moore has been the breakout star, splitting under 55sec in the relays, and dropping big times in the Open. The big stage at States could mean we see our first sub-55sec open race of the Season, and with the weather cooperating, maybe even faster. | |||||
