In a toss-up race, the nod has to go to the defending State Champion. Not only do those odds play favor to Brynn Bernard, but this also happens to be her Sectional Course, so she has the knowledge on how to handle the hills. That said, this isn't set to be a blow out like the year before. Mariem Sayahi is seeded dead even, and Faith Skowvron had a brilliant race at Sectionals just a week ago.
