Girls Class B Individuals
State of the Action: The only race of the day that came down to the wire, Olivia Morganti had done much of the work up front. She had lead the race by a significant amount through 4500m. However, Sarah Connelly kept the Junior in sight ahead. Noting a fade, Connelly moved up and even with Morganti in the final straight. 50m to go, and the pair was side-by-side. Connelly found that extra gear, and broke the competition, to earn her first State Title.
