State of the Action
This could be billed as the "Race of the Century", with the two greatest athletes to ever do it going head-to-head for the State Title. Angelina Napoleon set the National Record last year, but Karrie Baloga grabbed it back this year at Loucks. That is, including a fall in the middle of the race that shaved off valuable seconds. Not to be outdone, Napoleon became the first US Female HSer to ever go under 6:20 for the distance, marking a U20 National Record in the process. Now the pair will go head-to-head, and we're sure to see some smoke on the Track, outside of that coming from Canada.
