This Year's Outlook |
The
Engineers were edged out by Susan Wagner, preventing tham from sweeping
the four team and individual PSAL titles for boys and girls. But Evan
Sherman took the individual title, and Brooklyn Tech had by far the best
showing of PSAL teams at Federations with a 17th place. Sherman is back
with PSAL 4th place finisher Robert Straight and top 20 guys Isaac
Stamper and Dylan Canales and the rest of the 2017 varsity to form a
squad that rates far higher than any PSAL team. This will need to be a
very big year for the Engineers as they go for their first title in four
years because all of the returning varsity members are seniors except
for Canales.
