Girls Races

Girls Varsity 1

Teams: Pearl River (105.6), Warwick (102.0), Arlington (93.8)

Individuals: Mary Hennelly (Suffern) - 132, Mary Borkoski (Pearl River) - 120, Kristin Thompson (Warwick) - 108, Niamh Durcan (Pearl River) - 107, Genevieve Reilly (Warwick) - 104, Annie McCormack (Pearl River) 103, Lily Hayes (Sweet Home) - 102, Simone Sullivan (Warwick) - 102

Breakdown: It looks like Hennelly and Borkoski can't escape each other, with Hennelly getting the nod over Borkoski in Race F at Manhattan last Saturday.  The pair should be leading the pack again here, although Pearl River might get their victory in the team competition.

Girls Varsity 3

Teams: Monroe-Woodbury (101.2), Carmel (97.6), Tappan Zee (96.0)

Individuals: Alex Thomas (Tappan Zee) - 120, Jade Sessions (Carmel) - 118, Jessica Pidgeon (Monroe-Woodbury) - 115, Madeleine Shellard (Irondequoit) - 114, Katie Turk (Carmel) - 107, Sophia Rosset (Scarsdale), - 104, Tori Fears (Tappan Zee) - 103, Julia Hoyt (Monroe-Woodbury) - 103, Phoebe Ward (Dobbs) 103

Breakdown: With the team battle close enough it is still up for grabs, the individual race becomes that much more interesting.  Thomas leads the field, but only just, as there is plenty of company who knows the course as well as she does.

Girls Varsity 4

Teams: John Jay-Cross River (107.8), Notre Dame Academy (105.4),

Individuals: Pippa Nuttall (JJ-CR) - 118, Sierra Dinneen (Notre Dame Academy) - 117, Keiana Mitchell (Notre Dame Academy) - 114, Kelsey Crawford (JJ-CR) - 107, Cameron Crawford (JJ-CR) - 107, Giavanna Comerford (Notre Dame Academy) - 106, Lauren Pollak (JJ-CR) - 105, Morgan Johnson (JJ-CR) - 104

Breakdown:  Consider this race a dual meet, as the top seeds all hail from the same two teams.  Not only that, but they will be in contention to go 1-2 in the merge as well.  Both have major players vying for the Individual win at the top.  All around, this one should be close.
