This Year's Outlook
Elmira's longtime frontrunner Abbey Wheeler graduated after a final trip to Foot Locker Nationals, and that leaves a big void at the top of the lineup. But tthe rest of the top 5 spanning the two Tubbs (Reilly and Mackenzie) to the two Olivia's (Riley amd Lovejoy) is back, and with the expected addition of track standout Casey Roman, that should keep the Express competitive with Corning in the S4-A race with maybe enough depth to regain the title it last won in 2014,

Warwick ValleyWildcats

Section: 9Class: AColors: Purple and gold
Warwick Valley's Jenny Prial (no. 980) was in a strong pack at States on her way to a 12th place medal.

This Year's Outlook
Two-time States champ Megan Reilly and three other seniors from the Wildcat varsity are gone, and it's really hard to put any kind of happy face on that situation. However, senior Jenny Prial is back after a 12th place medal at States, and Reilly's freshman sister Genevieve appears set to join the team and maybe help fill in at the 2-3 spots with 8th grader Fiona Mulvihill, so there is some reason to think that Warwick Valley could make a run at the much deeper reigning champ Monroe-Woodbury in S9-A.

This Year's Outlook
Niskayuna fell back last year after a nice 2014 season as the top of the lineup was not as strong, which is a problem in the very tough S2-A. But all except one of the varsity is back for the Silver Warriors, and the team is deeper than last year with Amelia and Charlotte Kokernak, Abigail Spiers, and Lexi Sciortino all above the 100 TR mark. With only one senior among the entering top 7, Niskayuna should have some time to develop a challenger in S2-A.

This Year's Outlook
A good start for the Braves last year became weaker apparently following some injuries, but four of the top five runners from States return. With junior States medalist Reilly Siebert at the lead, Syosset looks fairly well set in an expected upcoming battle with Port Washington for the S8-A crown, but some development for the 5-6 spots is needed.

This Year's Outlook
Everyone is back from last year's States team, with Katrina Patterson again leading the way out front and Cristina Ray and Elisabeth Rott filling out the top 3. A little devlopment at the back will be needed to hold off Williamsville North for the S6-A title..
