State of the Action: Sometimes, you pick the days to run well, and others, the days pick you.
After trading wins with his teammate at sectionals, and with the field throughout the season, Jack Gregorski had the best race of his HS career, to put away a field of strong individuals. He didn't do it alone, as Ashton Bange helped spearhead the race through a mile, as Corning was 1-2 for much of the early race. But in the back stretches, Gregorski put his familiarity with the course to use, and broke the field of chasers to pull away with a 12-second margin of victory.
