Boys Class B Individuals
State of the Action: Seeded as the favorite not only in his Class, but also the merge, Gitch Hayes surprisingly had plenty of company for much of the race. Evan Waterton led for much of the early portion of the race, and sticking strong with Hayes through the rolling hills of the middle. It was only in that last third that Hayes' strength began to kick in, and Gavin Ehlers overtook Waterton for second.
Hayes' time is #7 All-Time, only ten seconds off that Course Record set in 2016, on a much warmer day.
