Eight New Names To Know From Spring Track 2021

Boys #4 - Wesley Noble (Bishop Loughlin)

Grade: Sophomore

Highlight Performance: 48.85 for the 400m in NY #4

Pre-Covid - The youngest of the new names to know, Noble was only a freshman before his track campaign was cut short. But Noble had been a regular on the club circuit, running youth and aau meets dating back to 2015. As a freshman, he swept up the frosh/soph sprint titles at CHSAA meet alongside major invitationals, then stepped up to Varsity for Intersectionals, securing a 35.63 finish for 4th overall. The CHSAA was able to have an indoor season in 2021, and there, Noble dropped his Indoor 400m to 48.89.

Now - The progression hasn't stopped once the Season began outdoors. As a sprinter who also does Cross Country, Noble was able to transition his speed up to the 800m, where he ran a respectable 2:07. But it was his signature sprint that saw the biggest jump, as Noble was able to dip under 49secs, and take second at Intersectionals with an 48.85. Not bad with two years left to go.
