Quick Look: In truth, both Wheeler Sisters could be on this list (McKinley & Sheriden). However, it was Sheriden who made the bigger jump in performance from 2019, and even from the track. Sheriden was not in the Top 7 that won a State Title in 2018, but came back to place as the 5th Girl for Saratoga at Regionals. On the Track, Sheriden came away with a best of 10:45 in the 3000m.
In 2019, as her sister was easing back into racing, Sheriden had two strong races at Elmira and Guilderland. After a minor setback at Ocean State, she rebounded with a huge performance at the Burnt Hills Invite, running just shy of the 18min barrier at SPAC. It put her as Saratoga's 2nd girl, on a team with State Title aspirations.
