State of the Action: The circle is set for the best Shot Put competition in years. Three athletes have crested 60-feet this year, the first time that's happened indoors since 2014. Tyler Zahra (Mt. Sinai), Jonathan Szymanski (Chaminade), and Sheldon Siverling (Batavia) have all hit that mark in February, meaning they are primed to repeat at States. Not to mention the Sophomore who finds himself just two feet off the Class State Record behind them.
