State of the Action: The Shot Put is wide open this year, as there have been some upsets heading into the State Meet. Braiden Pulver (Shenendehowa) and Peter Northrup (Penfield) both lead the State on behalf of their Season Best's, but both were defeated at their respective State Qualifiers. However, they could have been saving the big throws for when it matters in Staten Island, and we are hedging our bets that this is the case. | |||||
