Chittenango, NY - Home of the Section 3 Championships come November for the first time, all the major names were in attendance, albeit in different races. The reigning Nike National Champions Fayetteville-Manlius has reloaded well in both genders, but they aren't even guaranteed a States berth in either gender. Baldwinsville boys look to upset the monopoly Manlius and Liverpool have had in Section 3 for the past decade. West Genesee girls have the pieces in play to challenge the defending State Champs
After a prolific 2015 season of Nationally Ranked Seniors, it was only natural for those roles to be filled in again in 2016. You have a mix of revitalized summer training in Hannah Butler and Patrick Dye, or the emergence of middle schoolers like Brooke Rauber and Lizzy Lucason. They'll join some of the remnants of last year's stalwarts in Patrick Perry and Ty Brownlow trying to keep hold of the top position. As always, a new season is afoot, and the race is on.
