| Notes: Ty Brownlow finds himself as one of the Nike Cross Nationals top returners in the country. His team is in a rebuilding year, but he has Stevie Schulz from last year's State Champion team to push him in training. The two held nothing back on Saturday, each running together, using it to propel them towards the win. Only in the final meters did Brownlow pull away to take home the win. What's at stake is something only done once before, and only from Fayetteville-Manlius. Liverpool has a chance to sweep an Boys Class A Individual State Title in consecutive years, by two separate athletes. The carrot is there, and it is clear Liverpool is chasing it. | |||||

| Notes: It would seem most teams saw the weather, and wanted to get their races in early. This created a power race in Varsity 1, as nearly almost every major player in Section 3 all fell into the same race. And shining through, was the impressive pack running of Baldwinsville. Not to be overlooked was their 6 returning members from the Top 7 the year prior, but the big jump in the performances have made them a force to be reckoned with. For the past five years, whoever won Section 3, went on to win the State Meet, and Baldwinsville is looking to throw their name into the mix. With a 19-second compression, they have every right to be there. | |||||
