| Notes: With the Varsity 1 race so loaded, many of the others saw depletion. Patrick Perry, the new senior leader for Fayetteville-Manlius, wasn't going to let that slow him down. Running alone for the entirety of the race, Perry chased down the times thrown down in the earlier race. He came through with the win, in a solid time, breaking through to third in the overall merge. | |||||

| Notes: If Baldwinsville's goal is to get back to the state meet after an absence, the goal is no less different for Fayetteville-Manlius. Running with a revitalized roster, Manlius matched BVille's 19-second compression, with a 2-5 fourteen-second compression. The difference maker was Perry, who was way ahead of the field, providing a much needed low-stick. The Hornet's race sets up what could be a very interesting Sectionals. Both teams showed to have nearly identical pack mentalities, and if the two interchange, the numbers can sway in an instant. Currently, the advantage of having that low-stick is a big factor, but with limited displacers in Section 3, this will get competitive. | |||||
