| The Spartans had a great run in 2015 as they equaled their best ever States finish with a 2nd behind Pittsford Mendon and senior Dan Schaffer took his second straight 3rd at States before continuing on with a 4th in NXN-NY and a big 28th at NXN Nationals. With Schaffer and two other members of the team's top 4 gone, 2016 will be a rebuilding year for Maine-Endwell. Matt Goyden returns to take on the frontrunner role with sophomore Parker Stokes looking to have a breakout season after having some strong results in the steeplechase this spring. | East Auroura had another fantastic year in 2015 as it not only dominated at the state Class C level but also competed with the big guys in Class A, missing by just 2 points a trip to NXN Nationals. Frontrunner Kenny Vasbinder won his second straight States title and then quallified for NXN Nationals, where he finished 21st as the second guy in for NY after Ben Petrella. Now though Vasbinder, States 5th place finisher TJ Murray,, and a total of five of last year's Blue Devil varsity are gone and the huge level of young talent that replenished the East Aurora team in recent years is not quite as high. Coupled with a move up to Class B after a two year stint in C, the less deep Blue Devils roster means the team will start the season well back in the ratings as the team kicks into the customary development cycle. | Manhasset took its second straight sectional title last year and moved up two spots to 8th at States. Now last year's top guy Tim Courts is gone and Manhasset will need some guys to move up to keep pushing forward at States.
