While competing unattached, Midlothian's Skylar Evans and Marie Johnston along with Audrey Batzel of Ocean Lakes, were pulled along in a loaded field to Virginia top 20 all-time performances. Batzel, competing again next weekend at the Armory in the Millrose Games mile, was the top finisher from Virginia with a VA #7 all-time performance of 2:53.05 for sixth place in the race. Batzel was closely followed in by Midlothian senior Skylar Evans in seventh place with a VA #8 all-time run of 2:53.38.
