It's been a long season, but we have finally arrived! Here are the final cross country rankings for the season as done by our volunteer pollsters!
By now almost all of the sixteen FHSAA Cross Country Regional Championships are finished up, so as the meet results get posted, check back here for all of the championship updates!
There are only two weeks left in the cross country season, which means this is Regional Championship week! Let's see what our pollsters think about the 16 Regions all across the state of Florida!

This past Friday at Larry & Penny Thompson Park in Miami, two young faces that are making names for themselves in the South Florida running community came together for a little Question & Answer session. That day there were three consecutive District Championship going on at the park (3A-D8, 4A-D7 and 4A-D8) and these guys sought out some of the winning individuals and coaches for a quick interview. And seeing as how I was without a computer last week I figured I would put together a 10-Day Recap of what’s been going on with cross country here in Miami-Dade County. (I really wanted to put together a nice write up of the GMAC Championship last week, so I’ll start off with that and lead into the various district championships from this past week).

Most of the teams around the state have just finished up with their local championships and this week starts the District round of long journey to the State Championship. As we move into week 4 of the season with the largest meet of the year behind us, the Flrunners 11 Invitational, we should now have a pretty solid breakdown for all of our FACA Rankings. There were many fast races, many great head-to-head performances and the excitement for how this season will all turn out keeps building each week. So before we get the official FACA Pollster Pre-season rankings next Wednesday, I figured that I would post the database's computer rankings from the end of 2009 season (with a few transfers accounted for) to see where many of the teams stand. This should be able to give many teams a general idea as to where they stack up in the state, and which teams to look out for! Rankings inside...
