Ithaca N.Y. - Well, here we go folks, its the last Indoor meet for many of your favorite New York athletes. While a select few may continue on to the New Balance Indoor Nationals next weekend, the New York State Championships is the culminating event of the season for a majority of the athletes. Pitting the best against the best, all sections have converged on Barton Hall in Ithaca, NY: part of the vast campus that is Cornell. The track throws in a level of unpredictability, as those athletes accustomed to the banked track of the Armory now have to grapple to the flat track lifestyle of the rest of the state. But this transition may not happen for very much longer, as Cornell has set in plans to build a hydraulically banked track for 2014.
