The Six Biggest Storylines From Sectionals Week

Boys Section 3

The boys of Fayetteville-Manlius went 1-2-3 at Sectionals, with their front pair putting up the highest Speed Ratings of the Season.  Their front trio of Peyton Geehrer, Sam Otis, and Geoff Howles also strung together the top three best marks for a Class A Individual at a Sectional Meet.  If they were to repeat that at States, finishing 1-2-3 against both individuals and team runners, they would be the first Boys team to ever do so in Class A, the only other instance coming in Class C in 1970.  On the girls side, Manlius managed to go 1-2-3-4-5 at this very same course at States, back in 2009.
