Boys 2 Mile

Why: In a rare occurrence, it would seem the 2 Mile is the more loaded distance event for the boys. While the Mile usually attracts some from Middle Distance, it seemed the 2 Mile pulled in some top talent from around the East Coast. Headlining the field will be Charlie Hicks (Bolles) all the way up from Florida. His team qualified for NXN back in the fall, but Hicks would have made it regardless, placing third in his regional. He carries with him a 9:15.39 personal best for 3200m, but likely hasn't seen distance competition quite like this, outside his trip to the Manhattan Invite in October.
Looking to represent the Northeast is Aidan Caggiano (Manhasset) at 9:23.92 and Tyler Rollins (Downingtown West, PA) at 9:25.58. Avery Lederer (Penncrest, PA) has also been running well this season, just outside Top 10 last weekend at the Armory, but carrying a 9:27.01 best into the race. Let's see if the title can stay in the tri-state, or a trophy is heading back on the plane to Florida.
