This Week's Nominees:
Riley Lynch, Shenendehowa (New York): Ran a killer opening leg of the DMR at Penn, then came back to run 4:37 in the 1500m to win the Kingston Relays.
Maggie McCormick, Bay Shore (New York): Won a battle of the NY titans at the Penn Relays, clocking a new NY-1 in the 3000m at 9:28.59, topping numerous other top-ranked girls.
Kate Voelker, Manhasset (New York): Cleared 5-10.25 to take first place in the high jump at The 130th Penn Relays, celebrating with America250. She also cleared 5-11.5 earlier in the week at her local league meet.
Cella McLaughlin, Corning (New York): Swept the sprint events at the Waite / Molnar Invitational at Elmira High School, winning the 100m hurdles in 13.85 and the 100 meters in 12.07. Also competed in the long jump at Penn Relays, jumping 18-4.
Naiya Jones, White Plains (New York): Posted 55.04 to win the 400 meters at Ardsley vs. Pleasantville, Edgemont, White Plains, Horace Greele, ranking as the top freshman in the state in the event.
