MileSplit NY - We're finally recovering from a long weekend of the top track and field activity there could be found. Below, you will find our Top Ten Marks for New Yorkers at the Penn Relays. There were plenty more to speak of, like both New Rochelle and Mount St. Michaels making their respective finals of the 4x100m, but these were our favorites. And, for the track buff's in all of us, we've included a trivia question at the bottom to boot. Enjoy!
1. Benjamin Cardozo was the highlight of the meet for New York, as they became the first city school to ever win a female event at the Penn Relays.
2. Sean Kelly of Chaminade's split in the boys 4x800m turned some heads, as 1:52 showed up on the FAT clock in both trials and finals.
3. Mamaroneck's young 4x800 had a breakout weekend, hitting 9:07.91 in the finals of the event.

5. It was a sister affair in the racewalk, as Katie Michta of Sachem took the HS competition, while sister Maria took the OD. Photo by P Morgan
6. Mike Goldstock of Fordham Prep ties his state leading Javelin throw at Penn, hitting 190-6. Photo by D Rich
7. Gianna Frontera of Newburgh has a huge fifteen second PR in the 3000m, going 9:45.49.
8. Elmont Memorial finishes 13th overall, with a new PR of 3:17.04, bettering their indoor mark by almost two seconds.
9. Briyah Brown of New Rochelle finished 3rd in the Shot Put, making it out to 44-1.5 feet. Photo by D Rich
10. Stephen Shine of Briarcliff has a huge PR in the 3000m, going 8:25, which roughly translates to under 9min in the 3200.
