Perry's Rationale and Wrapper: | Section 5 teams especially got a big boost from the hot action at McQuaid, and Rush Henrietta took the lead there in an all-time classic battle between a trio at the top. Saratoga didn't quite have the depth to repeat the Great American ROC win, but the TR continues to rise behind Taylor Driscoll. Overall 8 of the top teams entered the McQuaid-AAA seeded race, plus another was in the unseeded segment, so they all pulled themselves to great efforts and pumped up the TR volume. Elmira continues to impress with a rise to 7th.
Kyle's Comments: | Some shakeup in the overall rankings, as an impressive Burnt Hills moves ahead of Bronxville. Consistency was key for Holy Names' jump to second in the state, but the Saratoga squad is never to be discounted. It will be hard to predict a winner between the two until they race eachother, which may never even happen until regionals. Fast times at McQuaid provided some more boosts for the WNY teams, who continue to impress. |

Perry's Rationale and Wrapper: | Lots of big scores last week. Holy Names dominated at EJ Herrmann to move into the 2nd spot overall in NY. Burnt Hills topped the McQuaid-AA action take the second spot in Class B ahead of East Aurora, who finished 2nd in the race. Canton finally shook a leg and then put up giant numbers in the McQuaid-A to shoot up to 4th. Miller Place won at Suffolk to head on up, and Honeoye Falls-Lima also excelled at McQuaid to move into the 7th spot. Pearl River, Nanuet, and Tappan Zee all now have full squads and are running at close quarters. Without Jessica Donohue in the lineup, North Shore settles back a ways, but the Vikings are poised for a return up the list after promising results in the Great American Race of Champions.
Kyle's Comments: | Again, Burnt Hills really asserted themselves at McQuaid, running without some top guns as well. Miller Place is faring well with the help of the Guevera twins (and little sis Siara), rising as well. |

25 | Holland-Patent | 3 | 59.8 | Inactive | Bunal, Hilts, Hoffman |
Perry's Rationale and Wrapper: | With the two Class C leaders resting last week, it was left to Tully, Pawling and Fredonia to post big results in the McQuaid-A race and ratchet up their TR levels. Skaneateles and Tully are now almost identical TR twins. Newark Valley charged back after slipping out of the rankings last week as the Cardinals finished 12th in the McQuaid A. Friends Academy showed a newfound depth with a nice 4th place finish in RI at the Ocean State.
Kyle's Comments: | Bronxville will return to action at St. Anthony's, as will Skaneateles return to competition, so we may see how things play out at the top, in anticipation for Manhattan. Last year, Coach Mitchell mentioned he would enter in the Eastern States' race this year, but whether or not that still holds true will have to wait until the entries are released. |

20. | Beaver River | 3 | 40.0 | 10th in EJ Herrmann-1 | Rollin, Smith |
Perry's Rationale and Wrapper: | Maple Grove continues to impress at the top after posting big numbers at McQuaid and almost moving on to the top 10 Overall NY list. Greenwich is still seeking more depth for a challenge at the top. Oakfield-Alabama put the pieces together for a win in the McQuaid-A3 race to jump to number 4 in the rankings. Sauquoit Valley also captured a crown out at EJ Herrmann.
Kyle's Comments: | Maple Grove ran well with competition two sizes larger at McQuaid, and earned a boost in their ratings accordingly. They are starting to pull away from Greenwich. |
