It would seem Katelyn Tuohy has one gear over the 3000m, and it just so happens to be fast. She had split a 9:10 hand-time at the Loucks Games in her 3200m National Record, but it hadn't been able to be ratified. Now, in the 3000m, Tuohy ran almost identical 1600m splits, and came out with the same outcome, this time making the mark official. It's the new Meet Record, but she's still chasing the State Record of Mary Cain at 8:58.48. | |||||
