While there may had been some company for the first 300m, the 1500m was once again the Katelyn Tuohy show. She ran 4:18 and change last year, and dropped that down four seconds for a meet record. While a four second drop may seem modest for an athlete of this caliber, the 4:18 was already an elite level performance, and this kind of improvement is hard to come by at that level. Senior Reilly Siebert comes through for a second place finish at the line, not a bad way to end out her last year in HS. D2's Hali Ielfield breaks 4:30 to win her State Title in 5th. | |||||
