The past week saw few teams that were running push themselves anywhere near their standard top ratings as they either ran in course-review meets or invites and county races where they were holding back resources and resting some runners. Bethlehem at Albany County, Fairport at Monroe County, and Corning at STAC all had strong efforts to win with ratings close to their standard marks. Cicero-North Syracuse and Fayetteville-Manlius were both missing top runners at SCAC. West Genesee and especially Liverpool in 3rd and 4th at SCAC made big improvements to rise in the rankings. Shaker,Guilderland, and especially Colonie moved up with a big days behind Bethlehem at Albany County, and Brighton was 1 point behind Fairport in an upset bid at Monroe County to also move up.
