F-M takes boys and girls titles at NXN NY Regional

WAPPINGERS FALLS – Fayetteville-Manilus keeps finding ways to show off how good they are. First, the girls squad became the first team to ever score at perfect 15 at the New York State championship two weeks ago. Then they coasted to a win Saturday at the NXN New York Regional Championships at Bowdoin Park, despite an ailing Courtney Chapman.

Many will seek individual honors at either the historic Foot Locker National Cross Country Championships or Nike Cross National Championships. Nike Cross Nationals will offer the Team National Championship.

NY Boys - Otis Obriaco wins. FM boys win, Burnt Hlls 2nd, North Rockland 3rd NY Girls - FM and Saratoga girls in 1-2. Lizzie Predmore (Shen) wins title. Shen 3rd.
