Bronx, NY - Unlike Winter and Spring Track, NY XC is a tale of two titans. The NYSPHSAA holds their sectional and state meet separate from the Federations of New York City. For those in the PSAL, AIS, and CHSAA, their championships serve as Sectional Qualifiers for the real State Meet, commonly known as Feds. Some of the States top teams and individual took to the cow path and the back hills one last time, in an effort to solidify their ticket to Bowdoin Park. We were on the scene to capture all the action.
The city runners in in the AIS, CHSAA, and PSAL are blasting at Van Cortland Park faster than they ever have. On Sunday at the XC championships, the NYC-area schools will be squaring off to decide who runs this city.
