Weekend Highlights

Boys

Ryan Manahan (Marcellus) opens his season at the VVS invite, and cruises to a very strong first place, breaking 16 minutes on a course that nobody broke 16:20 on when states was run there last fall.  Conditions were more favorable, but the time still impresses.

Northport boys put their pre-season hype to the test, and place 4 in the top 5 at the Suffern Invite.

TJ Hornberger (Lake Shore) goes 16:05 to open his season, placing first.

Mickey Burke (Rush Henrietta) takes first at the Bristol Mountain Challenge

 

Girls

Kelly Hayes (Pearl River) finishes well ahead of the competition in PA at the Briarwood Invite

Holy Names returns Catherine Maloy to their line-up, and takes top 3 at the Ed Springstead Invite

Mary Cain (Bronxville) returns to competition, winning in the fastest speed rating of the weekend for girls, 139

Erin McConnell (Fabius-Pompey) takes the varsity merge at the VVS invite.
