South Glens Falls K-Dawg Invitational
Beekmantown senior Nolan Laidman captured the boys' 5K in 15:28.1, holding off Seton Catholic's Colby Chase, who finished in 15:33.7. Freshmen stole the spotlight in the girls' race, where Lake Placid's Leila Fey won in 18:01.2 and teammate Norah Francis followed in 18:20.0. Lake Placid placed two runners ahead of third-place Jordanne Minchoff of Beekmantown. Results
Blackbird XC Invitational
The boys competed in two varsity sections, with CBA's Declan Lyman running the day's fastest time at 16:33.3 and Saint Anthony's Edward Lessing winning the other race in 16:34.6. CBA supported Lyman with five runners among the first 11 in its section. Voorheesville's Savannah Schmidt led the girls with an 18:52.3 victory, while teammate Avery Grant finished second in 19:10.2. CHSAA Practice Meet
Kellenberg's Zach Paggi earned the boys' 2.5-mile victory at Van Cortlandt Park in 13:38.20, narrowly defeating Archbishop Molloy's Timothy Hider and Iona Prep's Kieran Degen. Iona placed three runners among the first five. Sacred Heart Academy's Elle Riches won the girls' race in 16:45.86, leading a strong team effort that placed four runners among the first eight. Dave Forbes Invitational
Chenango Valley's Nikhil Datta produced the meet's fastest performance, winning the boys' seeded 5K in 15:40.1. Vestal followed with Oliver Parsons, Tyler Hayes and Kevin Middendorf all finishing among the first six, helping the Golden Bears post the top five-runner total. Maine-Endwell's Madison Novotny won the girls' race in 20:23.3, while Vestal placed four runners among the first 19 and five among the first 23 to complete a team sweep. Results
Mount Academy XC Invitational
Goshen's Jackson St. Lawrence won the boys' 5K in 15:46.73, with teammate Shaun Brenner completing a commanding one-two finish in 15:57.48. Chaminade, Kingston and host Mount Academy each displayed strong pack depth behind them. On the girls' side, Minisink Valley freshman Abigail Caputo broke 19 minutes to win in 18:57.30, defeating Kingston's Charlotte McFarland and Rondout Valley's Hannah Chapin. Results
Mustang Invitational
Phoenix sophomore Jason Perkins ran the fastest boys' time of the meet, winning Varsity 3 in 15:28.5, while CNS's Rhett Andrews took Varsity 2 in 15:54.7 and Clinton's Benjamin Morford won Varsity 1 in 16:23.1. Baldwinsville, CNS and Vernon-Verona-Sherrill captured the respective boys' team titles. Nottingham's Delilah Pandori-Howell dominated the girls' competition with a meet-leading 17:15.9, while Abigail Burt of ESM and Grace Carguello of Pulaski won the other sections. Red Dragon XC Invitational
Four varsity winners emerged from the two competitive sections. West Valley's Noah Klahn won the opening boys' race in 16:26.74, while Lancaster's Dante Strangis took the second in 16:42.55. Charlotte Winnicki gave Lancaster another victory with an 18:36.28 performance in the girls' race, the fastest girls' time of the meet. Wayne Invitational
Clarence junior Henry Furminger ran away with the boys' 5K, winning in 16:40 by more than a minute and a half. Clarence placed six runners among the first eight and scored just 18 points for the team title. Wayne's Olivia Burry won the girls' race in 20:19, leading the host school to a 24-point team victory with three runners among the first six. Results
