It is the first week of official competitions for the 2024 Cross Country Season, and for many, Queensbury High School is the end goal. That's the location of the 2024 NYPSHSAA Cross Country Championships, where team and individual glory comes to fruition.
The course is flat and fast, last providing thrills for the State in the Fall of 2013. Since, the course record has been broken in both genders, by Emily Bush (Saratoga) in 2023, and Aidan Tooker (Saratoga) in 2015. With a long straightaway start, and a similar one for the finish, the course provides a strong arena for the harriers of the Empire State.
