Boys Class A Individuals
Streak: Seventh Individual Champion. More than any other Class A School.
State of the Action: Running a course record the week before was nice, but outrunning the competition was better. Nolan McGinn deployed the same tactics as Sectionals, a strong first mile, then open up. It drained the field of competitors mile by mile, despite a strong fight from the projected key players. McGinn runs the fastest time of the day, nearly 20-seconds back from his Record (conditions were worse), and Douglas Antaky becomes the only other athlete under 16mins in the race.
