What The Numbers Say:
It's hard to say when the last time was that we saw a pack with this much potential up front. It would be very easy to look at the gaps in the Speed Ratings, and say that's how it will work out. But there has been some fluctuations along the way. Nolan McGinn barely outleaned Solomon Holden-Betts at Sectionals, but it came after two straight losses in the other direction. Collin Gilstrap and Jake Passalugo looked good back home at Sectionals, but it was Mason Talarico who beat both of them in person at the Burnt Hills Invite. Peter McMahon and Ashton Bange are the top returners from 2021, and despite being lower on the list, are right in the mix as well.
