Sean Hewitt is the reigning State Champion, and the Junior Class State Record Holder with his 51.26 set last year. On the other side, Ryler Gould (Newburgh) is the Sophomore State Record Holder, and would be looking to strike back. Both are seniors, with Hewitt heading to Georgetown and Gould to University of Miami. Could either of them have challenged Rai Benjamin's State Record of 49.97? We'll never know.
